Fact sheet
What kind of broker is it?
The platform is the main reason to choose CMC Markets. Next Generation, its web software, offers pattern recognition, watchlists and advanced charting, and many in retail trading rate it among the most polished platforms a broker has built for itself. The firm behind it is a UK CFD pioneer, founded in 1989 and publicly listed as LSE: CMCX. It works under regulators in the UK, Australia, Germany, Singapore, New Zealand and Canada, and every one of those licences is tier-1.
Where the points come from
These points measure fit, not rank. When a broker gets 5.0 for something, we judged it by the demands of its own category and did not compare it with every other broker.

Is it right for you?
Made for discretionary traders, both retail and professional, who like a strong in-house platform, a UK listing and many markets to choose from. If you trade forex or indices from the UK, it is an excellent default.
Trading CFDs means trading with leverage, and losing money is a real and high risk. Check that this broker may legally serve residents of your country before you deposit. Its full risk warning is on its official website.
