Cookie Notice
Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies used on this Site — what they are, why we use them, and how to manage them.
This Cookie Notice explains how FXDataSearch.com uses cookies, local storage, and other similar browser technologies (collectively, "cookies and similar technologies"), and how you can manage them. This Notice supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more efficient, and to provide information to the site operator. Local storage and session storage are related browser features used to store information on your device. Web beacons (also called pixels) are small images embedded in pages or emails that signal a server when loaded. Together these are referred to in this Notice as "cookies and similar technologies".
2. How we categorise cookies and similar technologies
We classify cookies and similar technologies into four standard categories:
- Strictly necessary — essential for the Site to function (e.g. remembering your language choice). These cannot be disabled while you use the Site.
- Functional — used to remember preferences that improve your experience but are not essential.
- Analytics — used to understand how the Site is used in aggregate so that we can improve it.
- Marketing / advertising — used to deliver advertising or to track conversions. The Site does not currently use marketing cookies.
3. Cookies and storage set by this Site
We use the browser's local storage (not traditional cookies) to remember:
- Your selected interface language (English, Spanish, or Arabic) — strictly necessary.
- Your last-viewed tab — strictly necessary, so refresh keeps you in place.
- Your cookie-consent choice — strictly necessary, so we don't ask you on every visit. Stored under the key
fbc_cookie_choice.
These items are strictly necessary, do not contain personal identifiers, are stored only on your own device, and do not require consent under EU / UK rules.
4. Third-party cookies and similar technologies
The Site embeds certain content and services provided by third parties. When you view a page that includes their content, these third parties may set their own cookies and similar technologies on your device, and may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, regardless of whether you interact with the embedded content.
4.1 TradingView
The home page, Markets tab, and certain other pages embed live market-data widgets provided by TradingView (tradingview.com). These widgets are loaded from TradingView's servers and may set cookies and use local storage to deliver and improve the embedded content. Please see TradingView's privacy policy for details.
4.2 YouTube (Google)
Certain pages of the Site (notably the 200INVEST broker page) embed videos hosted on YouTube, which is operated by Google LLC. YouTube may set cookies and use local storage related to playback, user preferences, and viewing data. Please see Google's privacy policy for details.
4.3 Google Fonts
The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), which is operated by Google LLC. Google may log technical request data such as IP address and user-agent. Google has stated that it does not use Google Fonts requests for advertising. Please see Google's Fonts privacy FAQ for details.
4.4 Favicon service
Some pages display third-party broker logos that are fetched on-the-fly from Google's public favicon service. The relevant request may include your IP address. Please see Google's privacy policy linked above.
4.5 Cloudflare
The Site is hosted on and served through Cloudflare's global content-delivery network. Cloudflare uses limited cookies (such as __cf_bm) for security and bot-detection purposes. These are strictly necessary for the operation and security of the Site. Please see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their cookie or privacy practices. We provide links to their privacy policies above for your convenience.
5. How to manage cookies and similar technologies
5.1 Through the Site's banner
On your first visit we show a cookie-consent banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in the browser's local storage under the key fbc_cookie_choice. To change your choice at any time, clear your browser storage for this domain and reload the Site — the banner will re-appear.
5.2 Through your browser
All major browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies and local storage. Specific instructions depend on the browser:
You can also enable "Do Not Track" or third-party cookie blocking in most browsers. Blocking certain cookies and embedded content may cause parts of the Site to function less well or not at all.
5.3 Through industry opt-out tools
If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies generally (this Site does not run such advertising, but third-party content might reference it), see: YourOnlineChoices (EU), DAA WebChoices (US), or your browser's built-in privacy controls.
6. Changes to this Cookie Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time, particularly if we add or remove embedded third-party services. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Please review this Notice periodically.
7. Contact
If you have any questions about this Cookie Notice or our use of cookies and similar technologies, please use the contact mechanism provided on the Site.
