Fact sheet
What kind of broker is it?
Vantage gives you forex, indices, commodities and share CFDs. If you want ECN-style execution, open its Raw account, which pairs raw spreads with a commission. MT4 and MT5 are supported in full and TradingView is integrated natively. The company's headquarters are in Sydney. In Australia it is regulated by ASIC; beyond that it has FCA and FSCA regulation and a number of offshore entities.
Where the points come from
These points measure fit, not rank. When a broker gets 5.0 for something, we judged it by the demands of its own category and did not compare it with every other broker.
The good and the not so good
In its favour
- ASIC and the FCA: tier-1 on both counts
- Raw: 0.0 pips and up, $3/side in commission
- MT4, MT5, ProTrader and TradingView, all available
- A free VPS if your account qualifies
- Integrated apps for copy trading
- You need $50 to open
Against it
- IG and Saxo offer far more assets
- Few CFDs on US equities
- Which bonuses you see depends on the entity; FCA/ASIC clients miss some
- Support is easier to reach at some times than others
Is it right for you?
A solid runner-up to Pepperstone or IC Markets. It suits active forex traders who want raw spreads from a tier-1-regulated broker and like having higher offshore leverage available.
Trading CFDs means trading with leverage, and losing money is a real and high risk. Check that this broker may legally serve residents of your country before you deposit. Its full risk warning is on its official website.
